Cranberry Orange Blondies

These are my new obsession for sure!


2 sticks unsalted butter, room temp

1/2 c. brown sugar

1/2 c. sugar

2 large eggs

1 T. grated orange zest

1 tsp. vanilla

1 c. white chocolate chips

2 c. flour

1 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. ground ginger

1 tsp. kosher salt

2 T. cornstarch

1 c. craisens

Cream butter and sugars together.  Add in eggs one at a time.  Beat for 1 minute.  Add in orange zest and vanilla.  In another glass bowl microwave the white chocolate chips 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until smooth and totally melted.  Add in melted white chocolate to the butter, sugar mixture and beat until incorporated.  Add in all the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.  Fold in craisens.

Spread mixture into a greased 9×13 pan and bake @ 350 degrees until toothpick comes out clean. Cool Completely.


1/2 stick of cream cheese

1/2 stick of butter

Powdered sugar

1 pinch of salt

milk to thin

Cream together cream cheese and butter until smooth.  Add in powdered sugar, salt and vanilla.  Beat together pouring in a little milk to thin out.

To Serve:

Frost cooled bars then sprinkle more craisins on top.  I melt more white chocolate chips in a sandwich ziplock bag and then cut off a tiny corner.  Then I drizzle chocolate diagonally onto the bars…you know, because they are not fully dressed without a drizzle:)
